Certainly not the same, but I will say the community it pretty divided because of some of their monetization choices, namely beginning to offer some Pay-To-Win content in the form of DLC Dinos. If you're just playing with friends or on Private servers it's not that big of a deal, but if you're playing competitively on Official then it's pretty broken.

Quite literally everything in this video, besides maybe one or two things, was simply new visuals. (or downgrades/removed features/polish, like no speed stat and no physical map) New UI also counts as new visuals, FYI.

Yes, however the game seems to be going Pay-To-Win in the form of DLC dinos, and just predatory monetization stuff in general. If you're just playing with friends or on a private server it shouldn't be a big deal, but if you're playing on Official then it seems hard to compete against tribes that have purchased certain DLC content.

ASE will run better for you on a PC with lower specs, however support for ASE has pretty much ended, so if you're wanting new content or online play on Official Servers then you're out of luck. In contrast, ASA is currently receiving updates, new dinos, QOL fixes, and online support, however their business model is slimy (as in micro transactions, Pay-To-Win stuff with creature unlocks, etc) If you're just going for a single player experience, either game is fine, but ASE may run better.

Reading comments like this is the reason I made videos as a hobby - it's such a cool way to connect with people and exchange a bit of happiness with each other :) And you're absolutely right, a ton of effort went into this - that armor and weapons section alone took a long time and a lot of planning. If you pay close attention to the "MISSIONS" text in the trailer, you'll notice that the glass actually covers up half of the letters too so that it appears inside the building when I'm breaching the door; I think little details like that really sell the 3D feel of it all.

@@BunnehGaming I need to watch it again soon and try to spot all those details. Your presentation is really on another level and I wish this was the trailer presented to me. Such trailer can really make a dent. I lost the mood playing it with A20 but your trailer would have made me playing it again. Not saying their trailer was bad but compared to yours, it's just ordinary. Also the music you chose was perfect to me. Sure there are tons of songs and some might fit better or hit different but for me it did fit just perfect. I really hope, you have chances getting a foot into publisher doors not just TFP. That talent should be used for other game companies as well. You now have a reference, which might impress other companies

Hopefully they take it as complimentary to their game and not insulting (I realize the title is a bit harsh haha)

I respect it man - would you mind elaborating on where I could polish things more? I'm always open to hearing what people think is lacking or could be improved upon. I realize that my trailer is not for everyone, just my take on things.

Hopefully everything goes according to plan there for console players; I know they had some issues with console release in the past, but I'm not fully versed enough to speak on it.

If I'm being entirely honest, I wasn't even fully aware of the voice-change yet, as I started making this video pretty much as soon as 1.0 was available to play. I'm only now starting to come across all of the different vocal lines and changes they've made like this, so chalk up Joel's omission as complete luck lol

Thank you so much :) Most of the clips in the video are actually based on the timing of the song, just like that shotgun blast. If you watch closely, even arrow impacts and gunfire muzzle flashes line up with a lot of the beats in the song (as best as I could, anyways)
